Filling in for Wasteland, who where announced on the playbill but for unknown reasons did not play, were Secret Sphere from Italy. Actually, I think the flyer that I saw must have been old, since Secret Sphere had been confirmed for a very long time, August in fact.

To begin with, Secret Sphere had some curtain problems. The concert started, and still the cloth was hanging between band and audience. It had gotten stuck on something, I don't know what, but the crew from The Rock were quick to pull it loose, end the whole thing was over about midway through the first song.

A good attempt from singer Ramon Messina at getting some contact with the now larger but still quite calm audience. Sadly, it did not do more than raise a few arms that were quickly taken down again as the band moved on with their set. Not even humbly saying it was an honour to be back in Denmark and thanking the creators of the show did much to awaken the lazy crowd.
Of course, to me the music was a bit monotonous and it is possible that others had picked up on that as well. Still, about halfway into the set Secret Sphere was given a well needed change of tempo, as well as getting quite a bit heavier with the song Loud & Raw from their 2004 release Heart And Anger. This did nothing much to get the crowd going however; they were still for the most part just standing around, still with a gap between the stage and themselves. An ok shouting along to the title was started for Dance With The Devil, but that was about it.

Even though they were blessed with a good sound and an equally good light-show, Secret Sphere's lack of showmanship on stage made them one of the most forgettable acts of the ProgPower Scandinavia festival for me.
