Knaack, Berlin - 2007

So, here we go again. Pain, second night.
This time they're playing the Knaack Club in Berlin, and it's my first time at this venue. I must say, I am very impressed. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is heavily decorated in a sort of dirty, rusty sci-fi style which looks great for this kind of place. It is also split into two parts, with one being the concert hall, with a small bar in the back, and the other a more traditional bar with a big-screen TV which shows what is going on in the other room. Perfect for just hanging out between shows.

Now then, to the important bits.
Just like last night, I came to think of how good the short intro sound was. Really fitting. Then the band came on, and they were showing even better spirits than they did last night. Right from the start they had the whole audience going, and the place was packed with energy. It could also be seen on stage that there was more action going on, with a lot more movement from the bands side.
There wasn't much communication in between songs, which resulted in a very tightly packed set without any real breathing/beer pauses. Still, who needs them, with such a good show going on?
I know this might sound a bit too good, but there was really only one downside which I can put my finger on, and it was in no way so bad that it bothered me. As normal, it was the sound that came up a bit short, with Peter's guitar being hardly audible a times, and a lack of keys on On And On. Although, apart from these two things the sound was, as everything else this night, great.
Just to show that the band felt it too, they came on an extra time and played Greed, although it had been stricken from this shows setlist, together with Bye/Die.

After the show we went to the small afterparty down at Access, and got drunk with the bands. Thanks for a good time, and see you again in Gothenburg!
