Finally, it was time for the headlining act of the evening, Pro-Pain.
To the sound of a joyous fanfare they took the stage to blow our minds with their latest offering, No End In Sight, and a lot of other stuff as well of course.
Trying to push as much as possible in proved to be the sets biggest weakness in my opinion. It meant that several of the songs were put together, e.g. they were often cut in half, and sometimes even less. This meant that some of the old classics which I had hoped to hear actually almost passed me by before I had time to react on them.

But enough of this negative banter, the show was still fantastically performed and I had a great time.
The crowd hadn't really gotten that much bigger since Vengince had played, but instead they had finally woken up, and had now moved up front and centre to wreak havoc to the vitalizing music. Also, both S-Core and Vengince were to be found on the floor, which I think is a very cool thing for bands to do.
The band actually gave the calmest performance of the evening, but still had an aura of coolness about them which made it work anyway. And even though they weren't jumping around as the other two had, there was still loads of good energy to be had from the four men on the stage.

As a tribute to the drummer of the first band of the evening, Gary Meskil once more incited the crowd to sing Happy Birthday in his honour, and then the man was actually carried around the room on the shoulders of the singer in his band.
Another rush of energy came when they played the classic Make War (Not Love) towards the end of the show. Sadly, this was one of the songs that had been cut in half, and we only got to hear the last part of the song.
So, in spite of not knowing all of their material, I enjoyed myself royally at this show, and as Gary himself said when we met on the floor after the show; "Now there's no excuse not to get all the newer albums is there?"
