Metalcamp - Nature rules!
Dear Metalcampers,
The beautiful nature, green forests, turquoise rivers and high mountains are surely the trump cards of Metalcamp festival. Where else can one relax on the beach while sipping cocktails, hide from the sun under trees and listen to some of the best bands on this planet at the same time? Beautiful nature is one of the most prized additions one can admire and taste during his/hers stay at Metalcamp festival.
There is no other music festival that is taking place right on the border of the (Triglav) National Park, and there is a good reason behind it. Nature and wilderness are becoming more cherished than before; global warming is the biggest threat to our civilisation and the amounts of trash people produce all over the world is getting too big. Metalcamp festival has always understood the importance of preserving nature. Each year we are trying to develop new ideas and tools to protect the wonderful environment surrounding the Metalcamp and to ensure that the festival area remains as pure as it was before the festival started.
You can help as well! It's easy - just pack your rubbish into the plastic bag each visitor is given when entering the festival area. It is a small effort, but its result is enormous.
