Site update
Hey everyone!
It's been a while since we last posted one of our own news updates, basically because things have been running just fine, so there hasn't been a need for it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, you know?
But, something was, if not broke then at least still in need of a better fix. That's what we felt anyway, and we call the shots around here, so there.
Anyway, to get to the point. What we've felt needed an update for a while now, was the way we display our photos. The way we've done it so far, has been a very peronal and special way for, setting our site apart from so many others.
But, it has had it's limitations. Namely, we haven't been able to show you our beautiful photos in a large version, and in only showing one picture at a time, we've lacked a proper overview of the entire series.
This is something our webguru, Lunah Lauridsen, have been working on or a wile now to fix, and now is the time for the big reveal! The new way of showing photos here at Metalmoments is a bit more streamlined to common standards, giving us the option of showing all photos in a given series directly, as small versions, giving you the overview we want to provide. These small versions are clickable, and will then produce a much larger version of the photo than we've ever been able to provide earlier, showing them off the way they deserve!
While viewing the photos in their large version, you will be able to scroll back and forth between them, much as you have been able to do already.
This change will be implemented on all coming shows from now on, and we will simultaniously work on updating the reviews we've already posted. This means that our site will be under renovation for a while, but you will be able to use it just like normal all through the update.
