Wacken Rocks Pre-sales
Dear Metalheads,
after the succesful beginning of Wacken Rocks Seaside we´ll cap it off in our anniversary and offer you two festivals at the same time in Aurich (Ostfriesland) and Rieden-Kreuth (Oberpfalz) as a Warm up for the Mother Ship festival.
Therefor we decided for two awesome locations and are trying to support the region and their metal family long-termed and intensively.
„Wacken Rocks South“ takes place from the 21st of may to the 23rd of may, 2009 in the little bavarian village of Rieden-Kreuth in cooperation with the well-known “Concertbüro Franken” agency from Nürnberg.
Musically „Wacken Rocks “ will consist of an independent profile.
Beneath traditional Heavy and Classic Rock to new rock themes there will be special stuff offered besides the stages. Catering booths, merchandising stands, a special medieval- and fantasy market as well as signing sessions with the artists, aftershowparties and more.

„Wacken Rocks Seaside“ will progress to the second round and takes place simultaneously from the 21st to the 23rd of may, 2009 to make the Open Air area in Aurich-Tannenhausen at East Friesland a mekka for real Metal- and Hardrock fans.
Nearly 5000 fans of hard music visited the premier of “Wacken Rocks Seaside” in Aurich 2008.
The audience celebrated the top line-up Motörhead, Saxon, Machine Head, Torfrock and Drone as well as some special talented bands in perfect weather conditions
Because of loads of requests for camping space at Wacken Rocks Seaside 2008 the camping area will be extended in 2009.
Bands:
At both festivals the artists will occur “back to back” – excepting the talent bands who will come from the respective region.
Following atrtists are already confirmed: In Extremo, Der W, J.B.O., Heaven Shall Burn
More bands will follow in the next weeks. There will be about 40 bands on 2 stages in 3 days.
Tickets:
The ticket price is 69,-€ for the festival ticket including parking and camping (except Seaside – 10,-€ camping fee)

The first 1000 orders will get the limited festival shirt.

Stephan Weidner - Der W - at WACKEN ROCKS
Stephan Weidner has been the songwriter and mastermind of Böhsen Onkelz for 25 years, one of the most succesful german rockbands of all times.
This spring he released his solo debut “Schneller, Höher, Weidner"
and entered position 2 in the german longplay charts. The album stayed in the Top 100 for more than half a year.
After finishing a yet nearly sold out Headliner-Tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland he will be the Co-Headliner at Wacken Rocks.
