Wacken - Line-up growing

At the Hamburg Metal Dayz in Hamburg the promoter of the Wacken Open Air confirmed five new bands for the festival billing 2015. The new band package contains top class metal acts.

It’s almost like a little tradition: During the Hamburg Metal Dayz the promoters of the W:O:A announce more bands for the next festival. Thomas Jensen and Holger Hübner had five new bands they could present to the audience in the Markthalle in Hamburg, Germany.

The multi-talent Rob Zombie will celebrate his Wacken premiere and the godfathers of metal Judas Priest will also be at the 26th edition of the Wacken Open Air. In addition The Boss Hoss, the Norwegian Black Metal-Band Khold and Black Label Society will be performing next year.

Already confirmed for 2015 are the Trans-Sibirian Orchestra and Savatage, who will be celebrating their reunion. In addition Running Wild, In Flames, Sabaton, In Extremo, Ensiferum, Kataklysm, Cannibal Corpse, Powerwolf, Sepultura, Amorphis, Death Angel, Thyrfing and U.D.O., who will be performing with the Musikkorps of the Bundeswehr, are part of the Wacken Open Air 2015.

“So far the line-up is really great“, commented promoter Thomas Jensen of the ICS Festival Service GmbH. “The fans can be excited about the next months as well. The advent calendar will have some nice surprises.”

The Wacken Open Air will take place from 30th of July until the 1st of August 2015. For more information please visit www.wacken.com
