The self financed video is based on the song “Sworn to Vengeance” from their recently released EP under the same name.
The video was produced and directed by Heidra´s guitarist Carlos G.R., also playing in other danish metal acts such as Corpus Mortale, in collaboration with Mexican video journalist Beatriz Barragan Horn who filmed and edited the project.
“The video was shot 12 hours straight, we were under a lot of pressure to finish on time and it was very cold, but it was fun doing it” declared Heidra´s bass player Morten Kristiansen.
Three different locations were used to film the video, the forest locations are all outside the Danish capital city of Copenhagen. The live scenes were shot in the well known concert venue Stengade 30 in Copenhagen.
“The idea of the video is based on the lyrics, but I wanted to make a video focusing on the band with a minimalistic aproach, experimenting with images and trying to capture a specific
atmosphere” said Carlos G.R.
“It is inspiring to work with such professional musicians and it´s the perfect project for me due to the intensity of working pace as I am used to documenting live events” said Beatriz Barragan Horn.
The video was photo documented by the price winning Nepali photographer Vibek Raj Maurya.
