MOONSPELL
The famous Melodic Dark Metal band Moonspell from Portugal is going to come to the North of Germany next summer.
And that´s not enough! The band has planned something very special for the upcoming Wacken Open Air because the show titled "Sombra" will be supported by a complete orchestra!
So prepare for a unique show of the absolute superlative!
In April 2012 the band will also release their newest album! So Stay tuned!

That´s right - we speak about Napalm Death! The fathers of grindcore once again return to lay waste to the Wacken Open Air. After 27 years and 13 studio albums they will show the Wacken audience again that they are still the spearhead of their scene. Grindcore at its best!
DARK FUNERAL
Scandinavia was always known of being the cradle of black metal and also in the next year we will get some sinister visitors from the high north - This time from Sweden. In the last years Dark Funeral managed to build up a huge fan base all over the world. After playing at Wacken in 2003 they will finally return in 2012 to create a storm of sound which can´t be any darker.

The famous German Medieval Rock band In Extremo is going to play at Wacken again.
Their past albums often were in charts and already their latest opus “Sterneneisen” had achieved good reviews.
