Royal Metal Fest - Bands and contest
Royal Metal Fest have announced three more bands for the upcoming festival!
The bands are:
Obituary (US)
Grave (SE)
Pathology (US)
In other words, there is some serious death metal heading the festivals way! Only five bands to go...
In other news, Royal Metal Fest is currently conducting a competition on Facebook, between three Danish up-and-coming bands, the winner of which will be allowed to open the festival on the second day!
The first day will be opened by The Interbeing, who won the honour by winning the Royal Metal Grand Prix 2010. Congratulations The Interbeing!
Now, for the rules of the contest:
* Metal Royale has created 3 events on their facebook group (where also the festival is set up) - all three bands will then appear as performers at the festival
* Voting period is from noon on Sunday 20th February until midnight on Sunday 27 February
* To win, participants must attain the most 'Participant' guests during the period
* All facebook users can participate in all three events, and advertise or post links
The winner of the vote is picked when Metal Royale reads the number of participants in their respective events Sunday midnight. Please note that they only look at the number of participating guests. They make no distinction between the individual persons, nor do they take into account how many have not replied or replied perhaps participate.
Metal Royale thereby gives these bands a unique opportunity to play on the VoxHall scene through their own friends as well as fans, because they believe that all three deserve this opportunity.
