DESTROYER 666
Risen out of ashes of the underground cult-band Bestial Warlust, the Australian black/thrash-masters DESTRÖYER 666 formed together under the vanguard of KK Warslut in the mid 90ties. Bellicose and freshened by undulated wolf's blood, the combo reached the top of the mountain of the metal-scene blatantly. With their still actual album "Defiance" the occult Outback-thrashers demonstrated their dark vitality once again. This summer the Australian brigade plans a fatal assault on your headbanger's holidays. Looking forward to this slaughter!
DEVILDRIVER
At night the devil cruises his hot sledge through the American city-backstreets. His co-driver is Dez Fafara: As a vocalist and well-known personality, Dez is perfectly informed about his diabolic attributes, not only to sweeten the last breath of a mother-in-law with his Mephistopheles-smile. Musically the master and his combo are following the vein of modern metal and open free ways for every kind of sanguinary fury. DEVILDRIVER reaches the boiling-point at the metal-scale: Fervently created products of crude brutality, dashing melodies and technical complexity speak out clear words confirming the success of these hellish racers, who will start a demonical race at METALCAMP 2010.
FINNTROLL
From the deepest and darkest places of Finnish forests, they creep... Cloaked in fur, fearsome and mysterious... The trolls from the highest north storm towards the South to celebrate a generous Humpaa-party, extremely opulent in consideration of drinking, having fun and honouring the troll myths. FINNTROLL will shake the METALCAMP festival with their exuberance and let the Finnish lunacy a free way. This horde is a true guarantor for a tippling night with a tremendous metal- and folk-factor - ideally for the upcoming partys at your headbanger's holidays!
SADIST
Bitter, deadly coldness will be breathed in by the death-metal-maniacs of SADIST at METALCAMP 2010. Not only in their home-country Italy, the combo, which produces thrash-like death-hits since the early Nineties, belongs to the heaviest weights of the whole scene. Their actual smasher titled "Season In Silence" heaves the band into the foreground again and makes clear, that SADIST is still killing like on the first day of their career. This band represents another wall in metal, which never impends to fall and also cares for efficient fuel for the moshpits of today.
ELUVEITIE
The Swiss Neo-Celts have reached to ring the bell for a new era in the mighty realm of pagan/folk metal and still posses the role of the vanguard within the "New Wave Of Folk Metal", after releasing longplayer-masterpieces such as "Spirit", "Slania" and "Evocation I: The Arcane Dominion". Never before, a band could build up the long-ranging bridge between Nordic folk music and typical melodic death metal in the Swedish vein. ELUVEITIE easily demonstrated the whole world of metal, that this venture is possible and impressively realizable. Now the march on the mysterious trails of the past continues...
