EXODUS
We feel honored to announce one of the most legendary thrash-combos for METALCAMP 2010: The Bay-Area-warmachine EXODUS will plow its way through your headbangers holidays and open fire at the MainStage. Rob Dukes, Gary Holt, Lee Altus, Jack Gibson and Tom Hunting deposit the blasting composition for a true thrash-metal-explosion, which will shut down your paradisiacal holiday-dreams and bring you back to ugly reality. The US-band mixes a dangerous cocktail of traditional and modern Blitzkrieg-metal, which burns down your throat.
WHILE HEAVEN WEPT
A new, raging flood is swamping over the European continent and leaving a special Viking-ship named WHILE HEAVEN WEPT, which comes from a completely new direction. Dale City (Virginia, USA) is the harbour of the 6-head-strong crew, who indulge metal music with experimental and neo-classical elements. Besides, their works are influenced by avantgard thoughts and incisive doom- and rock-basics. With their current album "Vast Oceans Lachrymose", WHILE HEAVEN WEPT delivers us a virtuoso burner in progressive epic metal.

The speed of time makes the most known protagonist of US-Southern metal Kirk Windstein reflect: It's now more than 20 years since CROWBAR were formed. No reason for Kirk to throw in the towel, quite the contrary, his vision about the band and their music is straighter than ever before. While a lot of other combos having the same lifeline announce the end of their career, the Louisiana Doom-Core-Bastards write another page in their book of biography. At this year's METACAMP edition, CROWBAR will give you a powerful lesson in down-tuned sludge and over-the-top-aggression hardcore!
