General festival info:
About the place:
Næstved Metalfest is located in Næstved, Denmark, about 90km south-southwest of Copenhagen. It takes place in the town's old army barracks, with one open air and one indoor's stage.
Food, drinks, and merch can be found on site, but as the barracks are located centrally within the city, other bars and restaurants are only a stone's throw away.
Because of teh central location, there is no camping connected with the festival. Visitors will have to find board at the local hotels or similar. The festival also works together with De Hvide Svaner, a local camping area which offers tent space, trailer parking, as well as various sizes of cabins.
About travelling:
Næstved is a fairly well-connected hub city, with good public transportation as well as easy access from the major roads if you go by car. There is no parking on site, but there are several parking spaces and parking buildings close by.
