I was actually warned beforehand that this act would be very boring, and this might have influenced me in a bad way, for their 80:ies thrash metal never caught my attention.
The show, however, did have a lot of the right ingredients.

The first thing to catch my eye was the backdrop, which I thought was cool enough to get a special mention in this review.
Another cool thing was the fact that they had several microphones placed all over the stage. In it self this was of course not something you'd think twice about, but it opened up for some extra possibilities in the show; first of, even though there was the obvious lead singer, Matt Heafy, still Corey Beaulieu, guitar, and Paolo Gregoletto, bass, both had extensive vocal parts of their own. The other reason was the fact that Matt moved around a lot, leaving him singing from almost every possible place he could find.
He wasn't the only energy package on stage though, the whole band seemed to get into it, and gave a most enthusiastic show. This was also well reflected in the audience, who were treated to a sing-a-long in the so called partysong, Anthem (We Are The Fire).

Even though they did a good job out of it, I must sadly admit that this was, for my part, the weakest show on The Black Crusade.
