Six Feet Under
Metalcamp - 2008

"You're looking fucking beautiful out there motherfucker" and "You're fucking great today". There was no mistaking that Chris Barnes (vocals) of Six Feet Under was happy to visit Metalcamp. And luckily the rain had stopped as well, so we were all happy to have a dry concert for once.
With their heavy death metal Six Feet Under got a good mosh pit going in front of the stage, and after a wish from Chris Barnes, all men (and women) put their arms in the air, and raised their devil horns. This evidently fell in good taste with the happy frontman, who also seemed to have a large amount of energy to give from. The rest of the band, however, seemed to pretty much stuck in their places during the whole concert. I'm not complaining about their performance with the music, but in my opinion it takes more than just playing your music to make a good live show.
Chris Barnes, however, did not suffer under this, as he waved his impressive dreads around to the beats of the music.
It was just an ok show for me, where the biggest high-light was when they played the one song I can remember the title of; Victim Of The Paranoid.
