Silver Dust, round two - fight!

Yep, after finding out that Silver Dust existed just the day before, subsequently being impressed enough with their performance, that I spent part of the day (at least part of the day that I was awake in) checking out their music, I now felt much better prepared for what lay ahead. But would the Swiss group impress me once again, or had their success been due to surprise alone? We were about to find out…

“Welcome my friends! Welcome to the house 21!”
- Lord Campbell (vocals/guitar)

It's hard to write a review for a band such as Silver Dust, for shows only a day apart. For something this planned and detailed, where performance and tech is so interwoven, there is but little space for improvisation.
And so it was, that we were once again introduced by the funny yet a little creepy video in the magic mirror, wherein the soldier in the gasmask was being followed by two dark figures, one with an accordion, and another with a great horn. Introduced as well, were the other characters of the story, too many to mention here.
The members of the band then came, first Magma the drummer, then Kurghan the bassist and Little Pistol the guitarist. Last but not least, Lord Campbell himself. Even though the stage here in Gimle was larger than the one from the previous night, Lord Campbell almost tripped as he walked on, but quickly steadied himself, and resumed the marching stride he used for this song.
Yes, much of the theatrics of the performance was the same, but even though the stage was larger here in Gimle, the photo/security pit was much smaller, which meant the fence was closer to the stage. Lord Campbell did not tarry in taking full advantage of this, and often put one foot out on the fence, to balance himself while getting real close with the audience.
Magma also took the show to new heights, literally. At the start of Forever, he stood up on top of his stool (get your mind out of the gutter!), and tried his hand at getting the audience to clap their hands.

One of the things that had struck me with Silver Dust, was their ability to get a good crowd reaction going. In Gimle, they were up to their usual tricks, yet despite an enthusiastic first row, the Roskilde crowd in general was hard to arouse. When asked, they participated in the fun in a good way, but then quickly receded back into merely watching. Why this was, I cannot say.
For my own part, I had even more fun this night, than the previous. Silver Dust might have lost the element of surprise, but the gained recognisability from listening to their music heightened the immersion of the show.
So I'll easily count this as another victory for Silver Dust. Two good shows in a row, that's one hell of a good way to start their relationship with Denmark (remember, this was their first time in the country), and we weren't the only ones walking home with their latest album under the arm.
Now, how to get them back..?
