”Just to explain the noise on the stage, we’re Napalm Death from Birmingham.”
- 'Barney' Greenway (vocals)

‘Barney’ Greenway and friends hammered us to the ground with a massive wall of sound which made it hard distinguishing one song from the other, but the whole was damn impressive.
What was also impressive, was the fight which seemed to unfold between band and audience as both sides fought to see who was the most wild. Its incredible no one collapsed by this in the warmth of the baking midday sun.

“We’ve completed the set half an hour faster than normal, that’s fucking speed for you!”
- Greenway (vocals)

The set held no surprises for me, as I had seen the same show just the day before in Copenhagen, with the same songs and same talks; still it was fun to see the crowd reacting to basically the same songs here as there. Suffer The Children was once again a mosh-favourite, as well as the old It’s A M.A.N.S World!.

For some reason this show didn’t get under my skin in the same way as the other one had, though, and in the end I stood rather unaffected. Maybe it was the intimacy of the smaller stage, or just this days’ heat and lack of beer, I don’t know. I just didn’t feel it this time around.
