If there is one band who knows how to host a good show, it's definitely In Flames. And as the second last band of the festival (for us) I could not imagine anyone better suited.

"You wanna sing? Then sing motherfuckers, loud!" Anders Fridén shouted, and as usual, he and the rest of the band had the audience in the palm of their hand. There was just such an enormous amount of energy in the band, and it was very contagious. Everyone in the crowd was jumping up and down, there were massive circle pits and I haven't seen so many crowd surfers to any of the other shows at the festival, maybe not with all the others put together even. I hope you get my picture, it was chaos. In a good way. So what if the sound was bad (and it was), we all had a great time anyway.

Anders also entertained us between the songs in his usual manner. At one point he told us about how all their clothes had gone missing at the Copenhagen airport, so if anyone had something they wanted to share, they could just throw it up on the stage. This generated a couple of loose items, such as a pair of underwear we all hoped hadn't been too heavily used.
At another point he tried to convince us that Take This Life is all about sleeping in a tent and drinking warm beer. Makes you wonder if he had maybe tried some of said liquid recently?
