Graveworm
Brutal Assault - 2010

The sun was shining high, and there was a nice amount of people out to greet Graveworm, and everyone seemed surprisingly fresh considering it was the first band of the day (for us) on the last day of the festival.
The band-members themselves was another story though; even though one might think that they had had a good night’s rest not too long ago, they didn’t really manage to deliver anything but an uninspiring standard show, where the musicians couldn’t even agree on the rhythm of the music in combination with their headbanging…
Out of beat or not, headbanging was plentiful from the bands side, and the crowd seemed glad to see the band, although they were taking a rather uncritical view on the concert if you ask me. I have seen far better show delivered before, even from this very band!
“We’ll meet up in the bar later afterwards for beer and Jägermeister!” shouted vocalist Stefan Fiori after completing Suicide Code, and later he would go on to prove his love for the bottle as he asked the audience; ”Drinks or one more?” just before the encore, and even though the reply was pretty unanimous in favour of music, the band decided to leave early, even though they still had time to play in.
This was, as you have probably gathered, not very impressive, and it didn’t take long for the memory of this concert to fade away into blissful oblivion.
