Dimmu Borgir

Mejeriet, Lund 2007

This evening starts of with quite a shock, as both Shagrath and Galder are missing most of their pins. Seeing these guys without a ton of pointy metal sticking out from various places is certainly as surprising as seeing Amon Amarth with shirts on earlier...

On to the show.
The band seems even more energetic this evening than they did last night, and are really putting on quite a show. They actually almost make me wish I would like them more than I do. Not that I dislike them, I'm just not a big fan.
The audience seem to like it a lot as well, and the whole floor turns into one gigantic moshpit during The Chosen Legacy. Also, as the band leaves the stage after playing Spellbound, the crowd starts stomping the floor, and they stomp so hard, I'm afraid they have left a permanent imprint on the ground.

Although giving a great show, the band is plagued by constantly having a somewhat less than good sound, with the bass-drums drowning most of the rest out when Hellhammer starts pounding, and the volume of Mustis's keyboards going from deafening to almost non audible and back again all the time.
All in all, though, I am impressed, and glad to have seen this.
